Red Plum was a restaurant a friend spoke very highly of, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to them. The service was disappointing. The waitress wasn’t rude, but she also wasn’t welcoming — she never smiled and constantly made us feel rushed. Honestly, it was hard to leave a tip. The food was acceptable. The sushi was fine, nothing memorable. The price is fair, but the overall experience doesn’t make it stand out. The only positive part of the service was the busboy who cleared the plates — he was kind and patient. I wouldn’t come back on my own, only if accompanying someone who really wants to go. I’ve been to red plum a few times and my experience has been varied depending on the time and how busy they are. If you come close to closing some servers make you feel unwelcome. The food is consistent and the prices are not too bad. My most recent visit was for one of my niece’s birthday dinners. I decided to go with a few of my favorites… Drinks: Lady Dragon & Lychee Martini App: Duck Roll Entrée: General Tśo Chicken Overall a solid spot for some Asian cuisine. Just A Note: They have happy hour and parking can be hard to come by.

Visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday, it was nice and empty so service was pretty fast. Drinks were strong and so good. I had a lychee cocktail. Sesame chicken was really delicious and so was the shrimp fried rice. The mushroom soup was also very good. Atmosphere was very nice, could be a nice place for date night. Do recommend and will return.
